I give my exemplary best and try to make the best possible decisions for all my patients. In over twenty years of medical practice, I have made two unfortunate mistakes which have caused undue harm. For this, I am deeply regretful and think often of how I could have better served them at that time. I am sorry and sincerely apologize for the decisions I made that negatively impacted them both. To date, thankfully, both patients have fully recovered and to my current knowledge, live an essentially normal life. For this, I am most grateful – the well-being of my patients. Subsequently, as a physician, the best approach I can take now, is to utilize the knowledge and understanding I have gained as a result of these events, and put to use more effective measures in the future; serving my patients with diligence, efficiency, and the best possible care.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Proverbs 3:5-8
